‘Marta’s Fairy Tales’ featuring the art of Marta Goebel-Pietrasz

The exhibit featuring the art of Marta Goebel-Pietrasz, is being shown in Imagination Gallery. The interpretations of fairy tales are presented in oils on canvas, mixed media on paper and on fabric, and in drawings, etchings and lithography. A native of Gdansk, Poland, she studied painting and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts there and later studied studio art with a concentration in printmaking at the University of Tennessee. Her large panels in the style of stained glass windows are on display at Homeland Café in Oak Ridge. Goebel-Pietrasz has lived and exhibited in the United States since 1995.

March 27 Folk music legend John McCutcheon

7:30pm, Historic Grove Theater, 123 Randolph Rd.
Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and storyteller John McCutcheon has been an East Tennessee favorite for decades. His spellbinding performances feature guitar, banjo, hammer dulcimer, piano, fiddle, and autoharp. Proceeds from the concert will help build wheelchair ramps at the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge. The concert is aimed primarily at adults, but children are welcome.
