CMOR’s 13th Annual Gala – A Celtic Holiday
Friday, December 5, 2014 – 6 PM to 11 PM
You are invited to an exciting evening of fun, food, and entertainment as Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge travels to Ireland’s Killarney Railway Station for A Celtic Holiday! Enjoy authentic Celtic cuisine and culture, as well as music and dancing, as we celebrate Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge.
Dinner will be catered by The Scottish Cottage from Asheville, NC, and entertainers will include Good Thymes Ceilidh Band and The Knoxville Pipes and Drums.
Now in its 41st year, Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge is the place in East Tennessee where families play, learn, and grow together. Through exhibits, classes, camps, and special programs and events we offer unique opportunities for education and for creativity through hands-on play. In 2013 we served 42,000 visitors. The annual gala helps to support this vital educational resource.
Reservations for the gala are being accepted now through November 14th, through sponsorships and individual ticket purchases.
Become a gala sponsor. Help the museum grow! Your sponsorship makes classes and camps possible; helps to present events such as the popular International Festival and the Celebration for the Young Child; and enables the museum to provide new exhibits, such as the Living Light Solar House and the upcoming Rocket Room: Mars. Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge is a 501(c)3 organization, and your contributions are proportionately tax-deductible. Read the sponsorship letter.

Edinburgh Castle – $5000
One reserved table for eight in sponsor’s name in an honorary location, banner display in all locations, and sponsor listed in gala program, gala invitation, museum website, and advertising.
Christ Church Cathedral – $2500
Four reserved tickets, banner display in all locations, and sponsor listed in gala program, gala invitation, museum website, and advertising.
Celtic Cross – $1500
Four reserved tickets, banner display in Imagination Gallery, and sponsor listed in gala program, museum website, and advertising.
Blarney Stone – $1000
Four reserved tickets, banner display in Music Room, and sponsor listed in gala program.
Pipes and Drums – $500
Two reserved tickets and sponsor listed in gala program.
