The Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge (CMOR) will host Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days from July 31 – August 9, presented in partnership with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums. This special nine day experience brings elements of the popular series to CMOR through themed activities designed to support creativity, curiosity, and social emotional learning.

Unfortunately, no. The actor who that portrays Gabby will NOT be at CMOR for MEOWseum Discovery Days.
What activities will be available?

- Photo Opportunity: Guests can enjoy a Gabby’s Dollhouse backdrop and life size Gabby standee for a fun, family friendly photo experience.
- “Find the Gabby Cats” Scavenger Hunt: Visitors are invited to search for Gabby’s fairy cat friends hidden throughout the museum.
- Creative Activities: A special Gabby’s Dollhouse Crafty Wednesday on August 5 will feature hands on projects inspired by imagination, curiosity, and teamwork.
- DJ Catnip Dance Parties: Short, movement based dance sessions will take place in the Healthy Living exhibit.
Is there any extra cost?
Nope! Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days is included with your CMOR admission, and free if you are a CMOR member, Blue Star, or Museums for All guest. Do we need to RSVP?
Nope! Throughout July 31 – August 9, just purchase your admission at the front desk, or check in if you are a member, and you are good to go. Our special Gabby’s Dollhouse Crafty Wednesday program on August 5 is a drop-in program supervised by a volunteer, but parents must stay with children during this program. You do not have to RSVP for Crafty Wednesday.
Gabby’s Dollhouse encourages compassion, creativity, and collaborative problem solving—values shared by children’s museums nationwide. MEOWseum Discovery Days offers families a playful way to engage with these themes while exploring CMOR’s exhibits.
