A Tennessee Evening

CMOR’s 14th Annual Gala

Friday, December 4, 2014 – 6 PM to 11 PM

Now in its 42nd year, Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge is the place in East Tennessee where families play, learn, and grow together. Through exhibits, classes, camps, and special programs and events we offer unique opportunities for education and for creativity through hands-on play. In 2014 we served 45,000 visitors. The annual gala helps to support this vital educational resource.

Gala volunteers: (L-R, seated) Pat Imperato and Cande Seay; (L-R) standing) Nancy Harrison, Lee McGetrick, Executive Director Mary Ann Damos, and Larry Burkholder

This year’s gala celebrated the culture, food, and traditions of our great state of Tennessee. Dinner was by All Occasion Catering, and entertainment was provided by Oak Ridge’s own Ridge City Ramblers, pianist Slade Trammell, Henry Perry, and the Knoxville Contra Dancers with their band, Riverdale. A silent auction and a live auction with auctioneer Bear Stephenson completed the evening. All proceeds from the gala go to Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge.
