Clay Birthday Party

You provide the party decorations and supplies (tablecloth, napkins, cups, plates, utensils), we provide the clay, glaze, and firing. Children must stay with an adult while visiting the Museum.

Pottery Throw Down Party!
Throw a pottery party and play in the mud! You and your friends can create in a festive fashion. Make a fun bowl or mug on the wheel.
Ages: 10 and older
Day: Saturdays only

Hand Building Party
Ages: 6 and older
Day: Saturdays only
Time: 10:30 am -1 pm or 1:30-4:00 pm
Fee: Member $170 Non-Member $200
Limit: Maximum: 12

Hand Building Party Themes:
Pretty Pots – Create a pinch pot and add marbles to the bottom to make it look like glass
Monster Pot – Create a pinch pot and turn it into a monster!
Rapunzel’s Tower – Use a slab to create a tower and decorate the outside using different textures.
Tea Party – Hand build a cup and saucer
Pirate’s Booty- Hand build a pirate’s chest and coins

Cooking Birthday Party

Select your theme:
Cupcake Wars Your party will receive two hours of instruction. Select the cupcake topping (Shimmer & Shine, or Animal Character: cat, dog, pig, cow, snake, ladybug, turtle or frog), divide into teams, and each table will have a mystery ingredient.
Ages: 5 and older

Donut Showdown! Create a signature donut: Star Wars, Minecraft, Pokémon, Superhero, Princess or Barbie. Choose between cake or yeast donuts.
Ages: 9 and older

Chocolate Lovers Make chocolate pops; a chocolate fountain for fruit, pretzels and marshmallows; and hot chocolate or milkshakes.
Ages: 5 and older

Pizzaria Make a personal pan pizza with handmade dough, then choose your toppings. If in season top your pizza with herbs and tomatoes that you pick from the Museum’s organic garden.
Ages: 5 and older

Special Guidelines for Cooking Parties:

1. Pay the full amount in advance.
2. Changes in the guest count should be communicated to us no later than three days prior to the class.
3. No refunds will be given without two weeks advance notice of a cancellation.
4. Guests should wear non-skid closed toe type footwear.
5. Please arrive 10 minutes early so class may start on time.
6. Due to space availability, only 2 adults may be present during cooking/baking time.
