CMOR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Join us for CMOR’s annual membership meeting. Our evening will begin with a complimentary light dinner at 5:30 pm. The membership meeting will begin at 6 pm and include the reading of an original poem by Rose Weaver, Oak Ridge’s Poet Laureate. Members will also hear about the Museum’s recent accomplishments from Executive Director Beth Shea and vote on the slate of new board members.

The CMOR Board of Directors, at their February 27, 2025, meeting nominated the following candidates for your vote:

  • Ms. Manon Fleming of Knoxville. Ms. Fleming is employed by ORAU.
  • Ms. Paula Sellers of Knoxville. Ms. Sellers is employed by UCOR.
  • Ms. Alexia Stewart of Oak Ridge. Ms. Stewart is employed by Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc.
  • Ms. Amanda Sutton of Clinton. Ms. Sutton is employed by Methodist Medical Center.
  • Mr. Brad White of Powell. Mr. White is employed by MS Technology, Inc.

The Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge has multiple membership options. Memberships last one year from date of purchase. A portion of memberships at or above the Patron level is tax deductible as allowed by law. Discounts apply to event admission, class fees and a 10% store discount.

Memberships are active once payment is received. Membership cards are mailed and will arrive within 2-3 weeks.

Reciprocal Sustainer – $125

All of the above plus 50% off admission to almost 200 museums for up to six (6) people.  The Assocation of Children’s Museums has changed the reciprocal policy.
Effective April 1, 2013, the ACM Reciprocal Program admission benefit will change from free admission for up to four (4) family members from the same household (or, if applicable, local restrictions) to 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people with no location restrictions!
